Precious Anderson Scott is the Principal of The Anderson Firm, LLC.  As a deal lawyer and serial entrepreneur, Attorney Anderson Scott represents clients in business, entertainment and certain civil litigation matters. Prior to starting The Anderson Firm, LLC,  Attorney Anderson Scott worked as an associate with King & Spalding, LLP.  Her experience also includes co-executive producing credits, co-owning a sports bar and lounge, business consulting for a national branding company where she is a principal, assisting disadvantaged business enterprises and working as an intern for King & Spalding, Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan, National Public Radio, Gannett News Service (USA Today) and The late Governor Lawton Chiles Press Office in Tallahassee, Florida. Ms. Anderson Scott’s entertainment experience also extends to projects she produces for A Precious Production, LLC.

Attorney Anderson Scott earned double summa cum laude honors with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and B.A. in Political Science from Florida A&M University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Attorney Anderson Scott is a member of the State Bar of Georgia; the Georgia Association of Women Attorneys Leadership Academy; the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys; the Atlanta Bar Association; the Atlanta Business League; the National Association of Women Business Owners; United Way’s V.I.P. Tammie McGowan – Office Manager

Tammie McGowan oversees and assists Attorney Anderson Scott with the day-to-day operations of The Anderson Firm.  Previously, Tammie worked for Arcapita in Atlanta, Georgia for several years.

JoAnn Green – Paralegal

Joann Green has been a paralegal for over 20 years in the legal field.  Prior to her current position, her expertise was in the area of complex litigation – having dealt effectively with large document cases concerning administrative, corporate, civil litigation, commercial real estate and asbestos law in the civil and federal courts.

Beginning in Chicago, Illinois with the Illinois State’s Attorney Office and subsequently as judicial assistant in the Illinois Appellate Court before moving to Bainbridge, Georgia (commuting to Tallahassee, Florida daily), where her expertise was complex construction litigation law and legislature lobbying with the Florida Legislature,  JoAnn has a fully accredited paralegal certificate from the University of Illinois.

JoAnn has special skills in Case and Database management, Computer Systems, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.  JoAnn is a member of The Atlanta Legal Professionals, Paralegal Service Outsourcing and Paralegal Gateway.


Lorraine Washington – Senior Executive Assistant

Prior to joining The Anderson Firm, LLC,  Lorraine worked at the Superior Court of Fulton County, the Atlanta Municipal Court as a Judicial Assistant and the City of Atlanta Department of Corrections as a Senior Office Assistant where she acquired over twenty-seven years of experience.

Lorraine attended Atlanta Technical College studying Paralegal Studies, Computer Programming and Medical Coding.
